Faculty and Staff Recognition Ceremony

The 2024 Faculty and Staff Recognition Ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 10, at 12:15 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall. The ceremony will honor the 2024 SUNY and Buffalo State award recipients.

Submission Information

Faculty and Staff may submit awards, recognitions, grants, and previous SUNY awards information using the appropriate forms below. Awards and grants accepted for the current year will have been received or announced between September 1, 2023, and August 31, 2024, and meet the criteria stated below for each category.

Faculty and staff who received significant awards and recognitions from academic, professional, or service organizations at the international, national, or state levels may submit their award information for consideration.

Buffalo State University, City of Buffalo, local organizations, and WNY-area awards are not included. Submissions meeting the criteria will be listed in the printed program that will be provided at the ceremony on October 10.

Faculty and staff may submit information on significant grants they have received at $20,000 and above. Submissions meeting the criteria will be listed in the printed program that will be distributed at the ceremony on October 10.

Faculty and staff who received SUNY awards—such as the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence—while previously serving at another SUNY institution any time during their careers may submit their award information. Submissions meeting the criteria will be listed in the printed program that will be provided at the ceremony on October 10.
