AI in Action: Transforming Higher Education through AI
Faculty Development Opportunity
Buffalo State, in partnership with the University at Buffalo and other Western New York SUNY campuses, is offering a funded summer professional development opportunity for faculty interested in incorporating Artificial Intelligence into their teaching.
AI in Action: Transforming Higher Education through AI is a weeklong workshop hosted at UB from June 8–12, 2026. Participants will receive in‑depth AI training and a stipend of approximately $4,000. Buffalo State anticipates having funds available for two faculty participants. The Provost’s AI Advisory Group will review submissions and provide recommendations for final selection.
